What cities do you want to visit?

There’s something magical about cities. Each one has its own rhythm, flavour, and story to tell. Some dazzle with their iconic landmarks, others charm with their culture and history. For me, the idea of exploring these vibrant hubs around the world sparks an unshakeable wanderlust. So, here’s my ultimate bucket list of cities I dream of visiting—each one chosen for its unique allure.

The Big Apple and Beyond

Let’s start with New York—the city that never sleeps. From the towering skyscrapers to the bustling streets of Manhattan, it’s a place I’ve always wanted to experience for myself. Its energy is unmatched, and I can already imagine myself wandering through Central Park or marvelling at the lights of Times Square.

Closer to Home

In the UK, I’ve got my eyes set on Glasgow. Known for its art, music, and friendliness, it’s a city I’d love to explore. Scotland has always intrigued me, and Glasgow seems like the perfect mix of history and contemporary culture.

The City of Love and Glittering Lights

Paris, of course, makes the list. Whether it’s for the Eiffel Tower, the cobblestone streets of Montmartre, or the irresistible pastries, this city is the epitome of charm and romance. And then there’s Las Vegas, a city that couldn’t be more different. The glitz, the glamour, and the surreal energy—it’s a must-see for its pure spectacle.

Hollywood Dreams and Beijing’s History

Los Angeles has always been fascinating, not just for Hollywood but for its laid-back vibe, beaches, and creative energy. On the other side of the globe, Beijing offers a rich tapestry of ancient and modern wonders. From the Great Wall to the Forbidden City, it’s a city steeped in history that I’d love to dive into.

Timeless Istanbul and the Mystique of Cairo

Few places blend East and West as beautifully as Istanbul. The call to prayer echoing over the Bosphorus, the bustling bazaars, and centuries of history make it one of the most captivating cities in the world. Then there’s Cairo, where ancient pyramids stand alongside a thriving metropolis—an unmissable destination for anyone fascinated by history and culture.

Colours of Marrakesh and Sacred Sands

The vibrancy of Marrakesh, with its bustling souks and rich traditions, calls to my sense of adventure. And of course, no list of mine would be complete without mentioning Jeddah and Madinah. Visiting the sacred cities of Islam is more than just a dream; it’s a spiritual journey I hope to undertake.

India’s Pulse and Bangladesh’s Heart

India is a land of contrasts, and I’d love to experience the bustling streets of Mumbai, the historical wonders of Delhi, and the rich culture of Kolkata. Closer to my heritage, I dream of revisiting Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, and Sylhet—each city holds a piece of my Bangladeshi roots, and I’d love to explore them further.

The Spice of Asia

Bangkok—the city of vibrant street life and golden temples—is a destination that intrigues me. Then there’s Seoul, with its futuristic skyline and deep traditions, and Tokyo, a city where ancient meets ultra-modern. Not forgetting Osaka, known for its culinary scene and energy.

Down Under Adventures

Australia is a dream destination in itself, and Sydney and Melbourne are at the top of my list. Whether it’s the iconic Opera House or Melbourne’s eclectic culture, there’s something irresistible about both cities.

The Journey Ahead

So, that’s my bucket list of cities I’d love to visit. Each one represents a chapter of adventure, learning, and inspiration. Life is short, but the world is vast, and I hope to tick off these destinations one by one, savouring every moment along the way.
