Science and Technology Will Never Outrun God’s Wisdom

By Mohamed Miah

In an era where human ingenuity seems boundless, where quantum computers promise to unlock the mysteries of the universe, we are confronted with a profound truth: no matter how far technology advances, it will never match the beauty, complexity, and infinite wisdom of God. The more we discover, the more we are reminded of the divine boundaries that hold everything in place—parameters set not to limit us, but to guide us toward stability, purpose, and ultimately, faith.

We are surrounded by wonders—endless galaxies, oceans that plunge into mysterious trenches, ecosystems that sustain life in perfect balance. And yet, despite all our advancements, we can’t scratch the surface of understanding God’s creation. For every discovery we make, countless mysteries remain unsolved. Why? Because we were created with limits.

These are divine parameters—unbreakable, established for our own good, set by a Creator whose knowledge transcends human comprehension. No matter how much we explore the universe or dive into the quantum realm, we will never reach certain boundaries. We can’t plunge into the core of the Earth or approach the blazing heat of the sun. We can’t travel to the far reaches of distant galaxies, and quantum computers, despite their immense power, will never process the infinite wisdom that orchestrates life.

God’s might is reflected not just in the grand scale of creation, but in the smallest details. Consider this: billions of humans have walked the earth, each with a unique iris and fingerprint. Each person, crafted with such precision, is a testament to the fact that everything in existence has been carefully calculated by God. From the balance of opposites—light and dark, life and death—to the precise laws that govern physics, every aspect of our world speaks to divine order. No computer or algorithm, no matter how advanced, can replicate the beauty or depth of this creation.

At the heart of our technological pursuit lies a deeper question: Why are we here, and who put us here? As we strive to unlock the mysteries of existence, it becomes clear that many inventions, from AI to quantum computing, are attempts to answer these existential questions. Yet, while these technologies can theorise and conceptualise aspects of our universe, they fall short of revealing the ultimate truths that only God holds.

Human beings, in our curiosity, are drawn to the unknown. We theorise, we explore, we innovate, but there are boundaries we simply cannot cross. It’s as though we’re trying to recreate attributes of the divine—like omnipresence or omniscience—through our technologies, but no matter how far we stretch the limits of science, we will always fall short. As awe-inspiring as quantum computers are, they will never compute like God, whose creation is incomprehensibly vast and intricate.

While science and mathematics can describe the laws of the universe, they cannot capture the essence of the divine. Love, for example, is the ultimate atom—the secret code that bonds everything together. It exists in all of us, even in the worst of us, and it’s present in animals, plants, and trees. It is a reflection of God’s gracious love for His creation, the force that unites all living things in a cosmic harmony.

The beauty of faith lies in its simplicity. We don’t need to fully understand the mechanics of the universe to believe in God. We just need to trust Him, remain in awe of His might, and call on Him whenever we need. He is always near, closer than we realise. The parameters He has set—whether they are scientific, physical, or spiritual—are reminders of His love. They are not meant to restrict us, but to provide stability and protect us from overstepping our limits.

Ultimately, as the Quran reminds us, “God is nearer to you than your jugular vein.” Despite our limitations, despite the mysteries that remain unsolved, God’s presence is always with us. When this life is over, as promised, we will have the chance to ask Him all the questions that have lingered in our minds, and everything will be revealed. Until then, our task is to trust, to remain in awe, and to embrace the journey of faith that draws us closer to Him.

As technology races forward, it’s tempting to believe that we might one day break through all barriers. But the reality is, we are finite beings created within finite boundaries. The secret to true understanding is not in outrunning those parameters, but in realising that they are part of God’s perfect plan for us. Everything is calculated, every law upheld, every atom bound by love.

We invent all these things with complex instructions and intricate designs, yet the one manual we truly need as humans—the Quran—is so simple and was written over 1,400 years ago. It’s the Quran that will outlive any technology, and that is the true miracle.
