Knowing God is the Peace We’re All Searching For

What’s something you believe everyone should know.

In a world that’s constantly buzzing, where our days are filled with endless lists, tasks, and expectations, how often do we stop and think? Not about what we have to do next, or what we’re missing, but about something deeper—something beyond ourselves. I believe everyone should take the time to know God, to truly know Him. Because within that connection lies a peace that no material success or temporary pleasure can bring.

We live in times where it’s easy to get lost. Many of us are struggling with feelings of depression, loneliness, or even just a sense of drifting. It’s easy to fall into routines focused on ourselves, filled with the noise of social media, the pressures of career success, and the constant comparisons that pull us away from what’s important. This individualism—thinking only about ourselves, our gains, our image—has led many down a path of emptiness, even cruelty, where sometimes we’re willing to ignore the pain of others or to justify selfish actions.

But what if we paused? What if we took a moment to seek something greater than ourselves? To search for light, for truth? In every pause, we find a chance to reconnect with our purpose, to find clarity, and to realign with what truly matters. For me, that light is found in knowing God, in slowing down to listen to His words, to learn from the teachings of prophets who have shared His wisdom across time.

The prophets’ messages are more than history; they’re guides for living a life that’s rich in meaning. They teach us about compassion, selflessness, patience, and kindness. Each of us can find our place within this story, and in doing so, we find peace—a peace that isn’t fleeting or tied to any worldly possession but is eternal, anchored in our relationship with the Almighty.

Guidance, real guidance, comes from God alone. And at the end of the day, it is always His will that prevails. Life has a way of showing us that we’re not as in control as we think, that despite all our efforts, some things are just beyond us. When we turn to God, we find a steady hand that doesn’t waver, a love that isn’t conditional, and wisdom that leads us through even the darkest of times.

So, let’s all take a step back every now and then. Let’s pause, reflect, and seek out that light. In knowing God, we find not only answers but also a deep sense of peace and direction. And isn’t that what we’re all truly searching for?
